I absolutely love these reins!  These are very elegant and grippy and have replaced them on every show bridle I have (they are standard on the Nunn Finer bridles, but I have others which don't have reins like these).  I like the clean look of the hook and eye connection, which does not detract from the horse's head or any blingly bridle parts.  The rubber is a tiny pimple which is easy to hold with or without gloves.  And the Italian leather makes them easy to use without any oiling or conditioning.  An outstanding addition to the Nunn Finer product line.
